Launched my boat around 9 am and started fishing as soon as I got away from the pier fishermen. Trolled a hotwing with a flatfish but got no hits after 30 min of trying I switched to a 4" flasher with a green wedding ring tipped with a piece of worm had several hits and landed 3 fish had a few more hits then the bite seemed to turn off about 1 pm . I had 1/2 oz sinker on trolling rig and was out about 85 feet I saw fish marked just off the bottom . I think the fish I caught are kokanee either way they are nice fish and were fun to catch . This is first time fishing Angle Lake , it is a nice clean lake and park , and had a good time watching the eagles fish . They were not doing much better then I was , but was a great day to be outside

Please, next time take a camera! Lots of readers here would love the opportunity to help you identify your catch.

Have not heard of many kokanees this year out of Angle so would have loved to see a picture too. They did put a lot of steelhead in this lake so they could resemble a kokanee quite a bit but don't have that salmon 'smell' and scales that come off and get all over everything! lol
That is one way to tell plus the distinct forked tail. Great job anyway and get back out as it is only going to get better and better I hope this year!
