After shaking off a hangover, hit the water about noon. Brought the wife and boy and the dog, full boat for my little 12 footer! trolled around for just a couple hours with no luck til right at the end on our way in linked up with a 17" Brown trout, my first one ever! (Although I don't get credit for it apparently since it bit on my son's rod, even though I reeled it in for him haha) He bit on a orange and gold wedding ring trolling fairly close to shore actually. A couple of other guys were near us and they had been catching them with a worm under a bobber. I wonder if they aren't spawning right now since he was kind of beat up like he'd been fighting.
