2/18/2015 7:36:00 PMI was on that lake on Sunday looking for perch on Sunday and came up empty. I guess I will have to launch in Renton and fish wher you are next time. Nice fish. I also have a son and seems to be loving fishing.

Weather was great with a little breeze from the north. Just enough to make boat handeling a challenge. Water surface temps were about 48 deg. Started throwing football jigs around points in 35-50 ft of water. Marked what looked to be some fish under the boat. The wife missed a bite on a plastic worm on a Carolina rig so I dropped a drop shot down with a wacky rigged stick bait and all of a sudden there was weight on the line. Reeled it up and she started to fight. Finally got her in the boat. A fat 3.1 lb. nothing else after that but a few perch to entertain my son.
