Well, Jeff is still on those deeply suspended Kokanee. It takes some work finding the location then the correct level, but once you are there, you can get them to bite. Depths of 50 to 200 feet have all produced. Mack's Orange mini-Squidders baited with Pautzke's Fire Corn continue to be the flavor of the day. Pepe' and Gilbert were kind enough to be our anglers of the day. They did well enough to get limits for them and allow Jeff to get one for a meal.

That's what makes these Kokanee special. They are not only wonderful on the grill, but they are big enough for each fish to feed a person. Not like the old days of the 10-11 inch fish which took up to 2.5 fish to feed just one guy. Also, with the limit being 10 instead of the old 5, it is a real treat.

Note: The pic is blurred because one of the Kokanee got drug across the lense ..

We are offering a "Kokanee Special" from now thru February 15th. It will be $290 plus tax for 6 hours or until limits are caught. This will cover up to 2 adults and 2 kids under 16. Beat everyone to the Spring thing and come over to fish our late winter for Kokanee!

They were very hard to find and catch by May last year.

Last year it seemed like the larger fish were more plentiful early in the season, but the fishing stayed good well into June
