Launched the boat at 9. Started fishing right out of the launch. Trolled two hours without a bite. Got a decent bite on the ford fender, but it didn't stick. An hour later my rod goes off. It didn't stick. 30 minutes later dads rod goes off, and the fight is on! Came off ten feet from the net. It looked like a BIG kokanee, or a BIG trout. Just got it back out and it goes off again! Nice trout, but we released it. All bites on a ford fender with a short leader to a smile blade.
