Had a big perch fry and they are so good had to go for more. Again went to the south side of Mercer Island and this time the fish had moved 5 ft deeper than a week ago - now at 70 ft. We drop shotted but since there was a brisk breeze had to use 2 oz of weight to stay on the bottom without too much swing back. Fish were just a little bit smaller on the average this time (8 to 9 /12 inches) but we did manage to catch 4 over 11" and one of those was 12.4" - a real fattie. Almost all the perch are swollen with eggs for next years spring spawn. We did find several schools towering up from the bottom this time chasing bait (see attachment) but otherwise they were tight to the bottom.
