What a beauty of a day to be out on a lake. Fishing was ok, but not hot by any means. Had 14 on and managed to get 8 to the boat. Released all of them. Barbless hooks makes it hard to keep em on. They averaged about 13 inches. No big ones. Dragon fly nymph by itself down deep and slow in 26/29 feet deep was the main ticket. Some fish hit also on trolled dodger ahead of the draggon fly nymph down deep as well. Not much snow up there at all. None at the lake at all. Caught both cutt-bows as well as rainbows.

Hi from is way. Thanks for the post. We lived up in Sedro Woolley area for about 12 years after I got out of the Navy before we came down here in 1984. We loved living in the Skagit valley. There was some awesome fishing up there at Pass Lake and on the Skagit river next to the railroad tracks by Mt Vernon. Many good memories from up there.
