For the second weekend in a row I took the kayak out on Greenlake. The action was basically non-stop until 1 PM. I caught around 100 (and mostly released) of the stocker "Steelhead". If you have a way to get out on the lake the fish are in schools about 150 yards off shore around the rowing buoys. Once you find a school you can catch them on every cast until they move on. I found them concentrated in the south east end of the lake. I kept 10 that I thought would not make it. I caught them mostly on a red tiger Vibrax spinner #2. I caught a couple on the fly rod and a few trolling a small silver dodger with a orange hoochie, silver smile blade combo. I would troll around until I found them and then cast. I love these fish. They are way more fun to catch than regular triploid stock trout. The go ballistic when you hook them. Some them jumped higher than my head when I was seated in the kayak.
