I started fishing about 7:30am. Changed gear a few times. Got hits on Dick Nite Pink Splatter dodger with a Wannafish A Lure Mini Squiddy Thank Pink and 0/0 mooching dodger with a new lure I hope to use again. The Mini Squiddy combo is the one that got the 16 inch female koke in the boat. It was 14 foot down on the cable in 45 foot of water. She ripped the line out of the clip. Fun!
The weather report was for rain around 1pm and that is what happened. We had cloudy skies over the lake and it started raining after I got home. There was some wind but it wasn’t too bad.
The water temp was 56.7 degrees.
There were only a few people out fishing for kokanee. Those that I talked with got one except for Glen and Cami of F24 who had 2.

Izorline Platinum on reels and lures.

We are in a battle! Angler against fish! We need an arsenal of weapons and at my site you will find some of those different weapons. For all those who wannafish a lure come in and take a look at WannafishALure.com.

Great job Toni. It's funny, a few years ago most fisherman thought that kokanee were strictly a spring fishery. Even thinking we were nuts for chasing kokanee year around. LOL, maybe we are... Are kokanee the cause, the symptom or both?
