CF had the first keeper size walleye to the boat before I got my line in the water at other mouth of crab creek. Chartreuse spinners/slow death rigs behind bottom bouncers yielded 10 eyes between 17 and 23 inches by noon. It felt like we should have had twice as many fish but we kept snagging old woody brush which required a retreat to usually get our gear back. 10-18 FOW was best. After losing 2 snags at noon we decided to switch gears and trolled Flicker Shads along Medicare beach at 3 mph and picked up 2 trout and 2 walleyes. We gave the west shoreline a final go with plugs and picked up 2 more eyes and a 13 inch perch(picture). 30-40 perch and small walleyes rounded out a good day on the water.
