Didn't have to work today so decided to see if I could limit out on the recent greenlake plant. What a great day of fishing! Arrived about 8am to the dock by the boat rental spot and had the entire dock to myself. Set up one pole with power eggs and the other with a rooster tail. Limited over the next 3 hours, probably pretty close to 50/50 lure vs bait. Bait was on a long leader, maybe 5'. I actually had a lot more fun with the rooster tail, so will probably just go one pole next time and enjoy the chase. Had many fall off right at the dock, but what a rush watching them chase that lure in! Bought a little chief smoker, going to test the catch tomorrow and see how well it does. Tight lines!

A lot of ppl don't know about the special rules as of Oct18- Feb. 10 trout per day, so if you're not in the know I guess it's your loss. Only a few selected lakes have these rules though thanks to conservationist not allowing hatchery steelhead to be released into Puget sound rivers ( another subject left for those involved in the politics of sport fishing)
