Had a great day out on the water with my son Kevin. Sunny day with a good walleye chop. We trolled plugs and spinners/bottom bouncers along the face of the dunes and later along Perch Point. The walleye were really scattered. We concentrated on 10-12 depths. We boated 20 keeper size walleyed with the largest a beautiful 28 incher. The perch were much more of a nuisance today. Only a few bass today but also had catfish, crappie, and bluegill in the mix. Chartreuse spinners were the fishes preference today. 2 hook setup was better than slow death today. All the walleyes were thick and were great fun on our light gear.
