well...was out...again...trying to find that big one that got away last week. Literally out of my fingertips. Bought a new net! Ha-Ha. Spent quite awhile trowing my Kong Swimbait around. No bumps, no followers that I could see, but it was a bit windy-rainy-wavy so who knows. Got 1 keeper on a dropshot, and another throwing a swimbait on a footballhead. Had another dryspell, than it was on fire for awhile. got like 8 with the biggest at 3lbs. Almost all were keeper fish. Looks like the big ones are feeding up :)

That's awesome! Where would be a good spot to fish on Meridian without boat?

Ya, all I got on Sawyer today was 2 smallish ones, 8" and 7" or so. Couldn't even get the perchies to bite the hook, nibble nibble nibble. Dropshotting only. Same place where I got the 4 last week after that other boat went thru, and 1 at a secret spot. :-)

Wind got up to about 12 mph while I was out today, according to
'the chart'.
