Kirk and I put boat in about 0830. Before putting the boat in we observed several Steelheads in shallow water near boat ramp. They were all fungi covered with white fungus. The steelheads were our primary reason for traveling from Kent to this lake. There were lots of folks fishing already from the bank. It must be that school was out, because there were lots of kids. Anyway we trolled around, lost one fairly large fish. Caught one 9" stocker rainbow. I did not see any other fish caught. So we left for Lake Lacamas.
