Went fishing on the 5th and 6th. Evening seemed best. Anchored at about 40ft water in front of Inn at The Lake. We caught 2 limits in approx 2 hours. My wife caught a nice 19" trout. Only one brown, about 16". We then went for some perch. Caught only a few perch but hooked 2 nice small mouths. The next day was about the same with trout, just no 19"er the second day. I caught a nice 17" crappie I was really happy with. Fought like a little beast.
When filleting the perch, one of them had maggots or worms growing in the meat. I just tossed the meat. The perch appeared to be grey in color instead of the typical bright yellow and green colors. Great fishing all-in-all.
