Dealing with the fuel issue, I swapped out the primer ball which said it was ethonal safe. As usual, I took the wife and kiddos. We didn't get there until about 11. I decided to fish in between the park and tapps island. I ran half throttle over there and it ran fine so I was optimistic. The kids started swimming and me and the wife started fishing around all the skiers and tubers! For what ever reason, the fish were active. I think we caught 15 or so. All drop shot. I had my feet in the water steering the electric motor with my hand catching fish. It died off about 2. I headed out to the main lake to run the boat hard. It was pretty rough so I didn't go as fast as I was hoping, but boat ran fine. I think the new ball fixed problem. The tiny bait pictured caught the biggest fish, which was only maybe 2 lbs

Sound like a good time I have always wanted to get on the water at lake tapps to catch some of those muskies! Have you ever fished those?

I have fished for them a few times. The only time I caught one was fishing for smallmouth. I think it was the biggest one I will ever catch. North tapps park closes at the end of the month so I'm trying to hit the lake hard until then.
