Labor Day fishing. Weather was nice. Had the lake to myself for a couple hours. Kayaked and skiers came out around 9am. Caught a couple dinks, and a 2 pounder. Then Kitsap Lake gave up an 8 pound large mouth bass to celebrate the working man! That was a good time. She fought hard. Thought I was hooked on a log, cause she wouldn't come up. Started breathing again when she was in the boat. Weighed her, took pictures, thanked her for the good time, then gently released her back. Got home in time to take the wife shopping and grill steaks.

Nice work Blackcrow614. Biggest bass I have heard out of Kitsap in a long time.

Very nice fish Black Crow - I have known for many years that Kitsap Lake has some real lunkers. My best fish was a 7-10 back in 2001. A few years before that my son and I were fishing that lake when he caught a 6-14 and I caught a 6-12. I would think the lake would be quite weedy by now.
