a friend and I went chasing trout at crescent this evening. went late hoping the waterskiers would be packed up and gone by then. one was on the lake when we launched and 2 more joined shortly. a mini speed boat at 114" was out too. 2 other fishing boats and a third who decided not to launch were there tonight as well as a poor guy on a standup paddle board who was doing his best in the middle of the 47 acre lake with all the wakes.
one 14" rainbow was landed and I released 8 bass about 3" each trolling for trout, my partner got 4 of those. didn't matter where in the lake we were, the bass were there.
another boat had 2 nice trout I saw, not sure of the other guy who ended up getting stuck on the wonderful ramp for about 20 minutes.
