OMG. The day started off el Sucko. Couldn't even catch little ones on Drop Shot, so I decided to fish an area I really never fish due to lack of success. I throw my favorite Senko up shallow in about 1.5' and BAMM. A Monster took it and ran like hell. Took me through a dock ladder and tried to wrap me for a break off, but I motored right up to him and slowly worked him though the ladder rungs. It was hard, due to I was using a Med spinning rod. She was a skinny-spawned out fish, but super long. Like 2 feet long! She is my new P.B fish at 7.1lbs. Would have been 7.5 to 8 a month ago. How fun is that?

Congrats.

Aug. 19th? Today is the 25th. :-)

Yup, lots of little ones lately. I had a good one on the other day, but it came off my crankbait.

Thanks guys. I'v caught a lot of monsters around the spawn time, but this one took the cake...and ate it! Nice to get one in August that large. Was a big surprise.

Thanks. Been great. God led me to some great exercises this year, and for the first time in like 2 decades, I have had no back pain for over 2 months! And I'm pretty well healed up from my 5th (and last) surgery. Best fishing year to date.
