Went to Lake Tapps this morning. Launched at Driftwood with a friend. We had a great time. We caught 35 or 36 Smallmouth Bass all in about 18 ft of water. There were dinks up to 3.5 pounder. Photo is attached of the biggie. All caught on a Drop Shot. The KVD Dreamshot is a killer bait. We tried other baits but to no avail. We tried Jugs, Football Heads, CArolina Rigs, Senkos, and Lizards. All of these to no avail. We started fishing aboujt 6am and was off the lake by 11am. I will say it was a better than average day. Lake was not too busy either which surprised me.
