The wife and I hit the lake about 0800. Was just straight out from the county ramp getting things situated in the boat and the wife throws out a Carolina rig in about 25 ft of water and gets one right away. Get things settled and join in the fun. Catch a handful there before heading to another spot. Stop at a few points and catch a few at each one. Action was steady most the day and the cloud cover made it comfortable. We caught about 30 fish between the two of us mostly the size pictured. The biggest catch was the tackle box full of lures I managed to catch. Been down a while a little slimy and rusty. I'll have to do some cleaning and hook replacements but definetly the catch of the day. Most fish caught on the Carolina rig in 15-20 ft. Of water. Tried several different lures didn't seep to matter fish were feeding heavy. I lost my hook on one hook set that had a baby brush hog on it I retied and put a worm on and caught the fish that got my baby brush hog the lure and hook were still in its mouth.
