Got on the lake late, about 9:00, headed to the north west end with every body else. We started out in an area we had not fished before, it's about 1/4 mile before you get to the burn area. The first 15 mins. we had two in the boat and then of course we loose a couple and then a few more hits that just don't stick. At 10:30 we had six of the largest Sockeye in the boat that we have seen this year. The later it get the fish seem to be getting larger, back at the dock I over heard a guide talking on the phone about a monster fish they got and having it weighed. These fish are still in great shape and Delicious. I debone my fillets then rub about a teaspoon of brown sugar into meat until all the sugar is melted, then finely grate a small amount of orange peel onto the fillet. I have all of this on aluminum foil (role the edges up) and put it on the bbq for about 10 mins. or until the meat flakes apart. It will be so moist with a hint of sweet orange it just melts in your mouth.
