Got on the water about 5:30, fished the south end of the lake with lines from 20 to 35 ft, depth varied, mostly on the west side of the lake. Got 2 koi and 1 RBT in the boat by around 7:00. Lost 1 and had a few hits with no hook up. Snagged the downrigger ball and a line on something, lost the ball when the snubber broke. My line was still on it and I used a hook retriever to snag a rope with a float, after a lot of pulling I found a 6ft piece of steel being used as a weight. I cut the rope at the steel and cleared out everything else. I didn't get my 8lb downrigger ball back but I did get a 10lb pancake and 4 dodgers, 2 like new and 1 that I think will shine up. So if you have been hanging up on the south west side of the lake it is clear now. At 8:00 with no more hits we went to little American for some perch, just got 1 and a few rock bass. Quit around 10.
Fished with a wiggle hoochie with corn, wedding ring with corn, and two lines with bare pink and green hooks with a bread and a smile blade. Everything got hit.
