My brother and I arrived about noon on a very bright sunny day. There were a number of folks fishing but not as many for a nice Memorial weekend day. Talked to an old guy he said to use powerbait and worms. We started out with this combo and had a few bites but the fish just took the worm end without the hook. I saw some fish feeding on top so I changed to using a small amount of powerbait in green and added several maggots (usually 4 on a #12 egg hook). I suspended this from a bobber about 3 feet, tossed it out and was hit almost right away. My brother switched over to this combo and in about one hour we had our limit of mostly 10" brown trout.
