I tried some fishing at the Mosseyrock Dam fishing area, off of Highway 12. It was overcast and sometimes sunny, with very little wind blowing. The fishing calendar rated it a Poor day. I got there at 2:00 in the afternoon. I counted about 10 other people fishing at various times, while I there. There were very few fish jumping. Didn't seem like the big school of fish was in much, if at all. I caught a few small silver salmon (land-locked Coho.) I was using shrimp or worms for bait. I was having better luck with the worms than the shrimp. I tried about 10, 15 and 30 feet down.
