My friend and i put the boat in the water early and were fishing by 4:40.The bites we got came in small groups.The size of the fish is good ,with some of the fish being in the 15 inch range.We changed up lure colors but found that green was still the best color for us overall. We hit fish from 45' down to 65' at 1.2 to 1.4 MPH. Dick nite dodgers in wonderbread and chrome were the weapons of choice and seemed to do OK.Hope to get out again Sat or Sun after all the 4th stuff is over. Good luck.

Nice job on the fish Septelk! I hit the lake at 5 this morning to try to get a few kokes (the 4th) and got skunked. Fished with the clown/wonder bread DN dodger with a green wedding ring. Got 0 bites. fished 30 to 60 feet and didn't get a single thing. Luck of the draw I guess. Fish on!

Sorry to here that fish guru. Have you tried a hammered chrome dodger with UV. Give that a try.

Nice Sep yes the bite is still on was out this morning got 13 in the box by 9 started at 5 will be out again in the morning I'm in a 14' gray jon boat see me say hi tight lines Tony......
