Started fishing at 6:30 using a blood red wedding ring and a half and half dodger on one side and a pink mini ace high fly behind a clown splattered dodger both tipped with shoe peg corn and uv shrimp scent. Got 1 Kokanee to the boat but came unbuttoned at the boat little one maybe 7 inches would have released anyway. Went until 9:00 without a bite and then got a thump on the chance cha squid with some corn on each hook. So I bring the rod in with this what I think is a Kokanee on it and it goes broadside 50 feet away from the boat and it's either the biggest Kokanee I've ever caught or a good sized trout. So it gets closer and I can tell its a stocked rainbow. I net it and bring it in the boat and it is a 3 or 4 pound trout. Didn't get anything other than that and called it a day around 11:00.This lake is definitely better before the derby started.
