My roommate and I fished the larger lake today. He fished with a
gold bead head black wooly bugger fly while I trolled a red wedding ring and a worm. We both caught one about 14 inches and plenty smaller. As the clouds crept in the valley and the sun started to go down we made one last loop on the North side of the lake. I got a hit and fought a twenty two inch trout to the boat. It turned out to be six and a half pounds. Not half bad for a blustery day but I think a boat is key for this lake.
