Got to the whole at 4:30. I thought there maybe a chance of it being on fire, given the great weather of late. I managed to catch 3 smallies in about an hour and a half. Hardly on fire. No size to report. dinks. So I moved up below the dam for some hard hitting pike minnow action. If I didn't catch a fish every cast, it was every other one. Using cranks and slash baits below the dam, fishing the current seams. At the hole, I caught the smallies on rattle trap, and swimming a swirly tail jig.

Hoping to get out again this evening with brother in law, weather permitting.
