We headed to Offut from Seattle to celebrate getting our butts kicked doing yard work all day. My girlfriend and I had ourselves a little contest/derby challenge to see who could land more with competing powerbait colors: Rainbow vs. Sherbet. Sherbet was ahead for most of the three hours we were there with 3 landed against my one. Rainbow came up big with a surge of hits into the last half hour and we ended in a tie. The battle of Rainbow vs. Sherbet powerbait wasn't settled that sunny Saturday afternoon, but stay tuned until the trout bite dies down or until steelhead start eating powerbait.
