Fished Potholes Reservoir on Saturday, June 7th, with 2 clients. We found a great concentration of walleye in Crab Creek. They ended up getting 16 walleye to fill out their limit. The biggest walleye went 24 inches with 5 others in the 19-21 inch range. The key that day was using the Macks Lures Smile Blade/Slow Death Hook combination. Colors varied as the day progressed. Purple, gold, and motor oil were good early while orange was a hot color as the sun got higher in the sky.

We also targeted Lind Coulee and Goose Island later in the day and found very few fish in both locations. The fish are relating to weed lines in shallow water (8-15 feet).
