Well after reading some great reports and having some free time I figured time to catch some fish for gradution party salmon dip. Arrived at 12:40 and launched right away. Headed over to the west side of silcox isl. to start and nada, moved over to the north side and the pole does the happy dance. Pick it up and nice weight to it take my time and poof....gone. Not sure what happen. Reset the gear and have a drive by, pole dancing and just as I get ready to pick it up it stops.....

Headed over to the north end cove area and the pole goes of grab it and get it to the boat and its a rainbow so I play a little and off.....reset the gear and wham not more then two seconds another fish rainbow again hook in the eye so welcome aboard little fella. Reset the gear again and pole starts dancing again grab it and another rainbow but it comes off right at the boat. Headed half way into the cove and turned around and the pole starts pulling hard and pop's out of the DR clip and I grab the pole and its heavy taking line off the reel and I am all smiles, take my time get it right to the boat and he starts jumping for joy......last jump into the net and into the coooler nice rainbow.

All in all a great day on the lake and not one kokanee in the boat had a few long releases and one right at the boat, just not my day. But the rainbows would not leave that pink ice alone.... Toni must of put some special juju.....on it. LOL>>>......All fish today came on the DR at 15-30 ft using the pink splatter back seps dodger and Toni's Pink ICE and the Squiddy Thang White-Pink.

So no extra fish to smoke at this point I hope to get out Friday morning for another try. Tight lines::::::.....
