6/4/2014 9:42:00 PMIt is not anywhere as easy as it was 2 weeks ago! There are quality fish to catch but they are in the weeds snacking on the many new bait fish. Should get a little easier with the lower water on the way.

Called the Mardon bait store before I left Auburn and was told the Walleye fishing was very good. However, upon my arrival the bite shutdown. Worked hard for a couple of fish but it was still a great weekend. The people at Mardon are wonderful and the food at the beach cafe is good! The only down side was that the mosquitoes were so big they had bones.
Fish on!
