Well, it was that time of year again to make the trek from Marysville in
Snohomish County and head over to Eastern WA.

We got out onto the water and Park Wednesday after and caught three rainbows, Thursday we caught these seven (I caught three my dad caught four) trolling the frog pattern Luhr-Jensen Hotshot.

I caught the three-pound smallmouth using a bright green double tail grub, casting off the boat rental dock toward the boat ramp. She put a great fight and was released unharmed. There are HUGE largemouth congregating under the boat rental dock and they're taking everything from dark chartreuse grubs to plain old nightcrawlers.

Also saw some kids catch a four-pound Brown trout off the state park dock. Great trip all in all, good luck out there!
