First off I want to thank all who have been so kind as to give me all kinds of great advise on what to do get into some fish over here and it really says a lot about how this wedsite is so helpful to fishermen looking to explore new places and species to fish.
Now on with the report: Scott had the day off again but this time I suggested we hit Moses Lake since Connelly park was open and was closer to Ephrata since he wasn't free until after 9am. I hit the boat launch and 6:30 and motored around checking out depths and drop offs and what looked like good places to fish. About 8:30 he called and got the kids off to school early and was at the launch so sped back over to pick him up.
Talking with someone at the launch, I told them I was a newbie and what would they suggest I try and they told me to fish from the yellow house to the flag pole and back from 7 feet to 15 feet of water. I had a macks wally pop lure and started with a 3 oz bottom walker and Scott had some hand tied spinners that had a lot of green in them.
We motored out and started our troll in about 11 feet of water and it didn't take long to start getting fish on one after another! We had multible doubles and before long had 2 limits of walleys up to 15" and 4 perch!! At noon we headed in and I gave Scott most of them since he has a big family and I knew in the back of my mind I was coming back Thursday myself to have another go at it!
Got back to camp and made a killer walleye burger for dinner and got ready for my solo day back here!
