Fished May 8 & 9th @ Potholes with a friend. 2 great days on the water. Limits both days great trip for our first walleye adventure. We saw guys who had been there longer than us who caught nothing at all. We chose a different route from the norm. By using bottom bouncers, slow death hooks with night crawlers or gulp alive with 2' florocarbon leader. We hooked at least 60 fish and kept our limit for the freezer / frying pan :) all fish caught in 16 - 25' of water. Larger fish were deeper 20 - 25' range. No fish over 20" though. I must say walleye is a good tasting fish and I'll be after them again soon. I took a song from Jiggy's book and fished ultralight rod with 6lb test. What fun !!!
