any suggestions for newbie at boat launch? First time solo since fishing buddy passed.

Be safe and take your time. Rushing leads to mistakes and wasting more time. Do it right the first time even if it takes more time. Don't let people bully you and don't be afraid to ask for help. I know if someone asked me and I was waiting to launch I would gladly help.
