Started fishing about 9:30. First time on the lake. Started to get hits about 10:30 and fairly good from 11:00-12:30. Caught 6 - the largest was only 14" though. Had twice that many hits that I lost. Black Wooly Bugger was best (full sink line), but also did well on hares ear and olive wooly. No hits the last hour. A beautiful day, but I quit at 1:30 when I had no feeling left in my feet. Talked with others who thought it was a slow day. One fellow had caught five on red chironomids.
