Well we decided to hit Lake Pend Oreille for some kokes, trout or whatever else would hit. Put in a Farragut and trolled the shorelines for a long time. Maked all kinds of fish but landed ZERO. Went as fas as Lakeview before the front came in. Decided to get back to the Bayview side before it got real nasty. Needless to say I made it half way across the laske when it hit and it hit hard and fast. let me tell you Lake pend Oreille is NOT a lake you want to be on in a 14 foot bay boat like a Whaler, White caps and 3 foot swells. Could not see a damn thing with the wind and water hitting me so hard. I made it into Bayview and was soaked to the gills. Said the hell with it and packed up and went to Fernan Lake. Trolled the first pass and landed 3 rainbows on the small trolling my go to lure for this lake. Flatline a 00 size meps syclops lure in Hot Chartreuse. I have caught more trout on this lure than anything else. Also been hitting Hayden Lake for the kokes so if you see a fat bald guy in a 14 foot Mckee Craft bay boat say hello cause thats me.
