Spring-like weather lured me to Pass today. Fished from 3:30 to 7:45.
Four other people were out without much luck except for one guy fishing chronies who brought in 2 all day.
Saw 9 fish surface while I was there.
Not much happened until about 6:30 (about 2 hours after I'd lost the feeling in my feet), at which point they really started hitting. I suffered countless failures to hook up-- not sure why, maybe the fly was a bit big. The action was mostly on a large bunny leech fished surprisingly fast. I was also surprised at the fight and the girth of the rainbows and caught a huge Brown. It was a great night. Now if I could only keep those feet warm. What's the secret?
