Wanted some catfish, so I talked my brother into taking me to the lake tonight. We launched the kayak trying for bass before evening nothing. Around 8pm set up for catfishing, me mr no it all rigged a fat night crawler on a hook and tossed it out. Little brother had a bass jig, I tipped with nightcrawlers. Of course he out caught me 7 to 3. The cats loved that bass jig. Going to make an awesome fishfry tomorrow.

Are these similar to bullhead catfish? My Dad use to catch the bullhead variety in the mid-west. I have yet to see what one looks like. Just curious, carry on!

Yep, they are brown bullhead.
