Arrived at American Lake around 8:30 AM and fished the south area until about 11 AM before the heavier rain and wind were to approach. Sonar showed fish hugging the bottom at 20 feet. Had just a couple of hits and only managed to land one fish - but that SMB (pictured) was the biggest fish I've caught so far at American. Didn't have a scale with me, but the fish measured just over 19 inches. Caught on a drop shot worm.
