Beautiful day on the lake. My wife and I decided to put the kayaks on the water for the first time this year and do some fishing. While waiting for her to prep her gear, I decided to throw a lure from shore and watched as a beautiful rainbow hit my lure on the second cast. Nice fish, around 17", skinny but a good fighter. C&R'd the beauty and hit the lake. No other fish biting the rest of the day but still had a glorious day cruising the lake.
