Got off work a bit early and headed out with a couple guys to Pine Lake to see just how good the fishing was that I was reading about. On the water at 5pm lots of highschoolers at the dock and in the swimming area so we all 3 piled in the canoe and headed away from the chaos... while paddling out I saw a guy lift a nice looking 'bow over the rail of the dock. only took a few minutes to get the first hit on a two tone triple teazer, lost it at the boat but instantly raised our spirits and we were motivated. We drifted around the lake casting spoons (silver/chrome) was the hot color and had one standby pole rigged with PB. PB near the shore seemed to be unstoppable. We left with 13 decent fish, threw a few back and lost 20 at the boat. Left after sunset. A great day of fishing in amazing weather.
