Went fishing with my fishing buddy Big Jim he got a new kokanee pole and first time he let out the line before he was done had a nice rainbow a good keeper 14 in plus n fat We were determined on kokanee today detoured from Mineral Lake to fish American Lake so it goes back finally all that is being hooked is rainbows decided to keep em Limited with a few hours and checked them in withy the fish checker she mention a guy had 4 Kokanee and en early apt had to go so the kokanee are biting just not for us !! Some nice Rainbows all around 13 14plus n fat!!! Excellent weather n calm water when we left fish jumping all over!! FISH ON!!

Thanks for the report. Just curious, because I'm thinking of going there later today and try out my new downrigger: how were you fishing? How deep? What were you trolling with? Thanks.
