Just bought a new boat, well new to me... More like a 1964 crestliner converted into a bass boat with a 50hp merc. My buddy an I just wanted to see if it floated and thought it would be a good idea to bring our poles along... The old thing started after 10 minutes of prayer and we were on our way. We were both throwing plastics and my third cast had a largemouth but he jumped and shook... Went to the next spot still throwing plastics looking for bass, my buddy hooks into something and it shook then hit it again, thought for sure it was a good size bass. Turns out it was a 23 inch trout caught in the reeds about 3 feet of water on a senko. Great day I'll never forget!
