Great day of fishing on Deep Lake. Drove down Friday night from Kitsap county to get a taste of Sun Lakes opening day fishing. We got up around 5:30 Saturday morning and were on the water at around 6:30. Beautiful day and it wasn't to crowded. We dropped some people off at the shore and continued fishing from our boat. After about 20 min. on the water bam fish on! probably a 9 inch Rainbow. We trolled down the lake and stopped in a few holes and by the end we had caught 23 trout and kept 8. They averaged about 10-12 inches and we got a carry-over that was about 18 inches. Great day lots of Sun and action. Defiantly coming back!
