Fished banks again today with high hopes.

2nd cast I landed a nice 17' SM, off to a good start..

Then the wind chimed in....

Tried to fish a few areas out of the wind, but came up zero.

Switched to walleye. Landed a 14" wally, then fought more wind.

Hoping for less wind tomorrow.

Ah yes, that eastern WA wind can wreak havoc on fishing plans. Great to stick it out and persevere!

If the wind is blowing really strong you might consider fishing Rufus Woods, it is only about 20 minutes from Steamboat Rock.
