Well the wait is finally over I got 3 of these rascials......I am so excited. Hit the lake around 12:30 in the afternoon sun shining brite with some clouds rolling by. I fished with Toni's glided lily on both poles one with a pink splater back and the other a green and gold flasher took 15 min and I had my fish take down rod is bouncing and I am like oh yah...took my time reeling it in grab the net took my time and a nice football kokanee in the boat and a HELL YA!!! Oh well I was excited what can I say. oh both were tipped with corn. reset the pole on the DR and nada....then 20 min later bam the rod is dancing this time its the pink splatter back bottom rod on the DR, took my time seem like 5 min later and fish is swimming next to the boat grab the net and another in the boat and I am on cloud nine!!!! Pull in the lines reset again and another 30 mins goes by and just when I think I am pushing my luck agian the rod starts the kokanee dance......take my time and its another fat fish grab the net and take my time and that's my 3 koke in the boat. Excited and pumped I think hey I just might get my limit and fished for another hour or so and no bites. Heavy clouds were comming in so figured I would head home a happy man. Did say hello to Bay wolf as I was heading out he had just arrived and started fishing. So after a long chase to catch my first kokanee it over and now I feel fantastic and ready to put more in the boat. Looking forward to smoking a few of these nice pink fish.
Tight lines and stay safe!!
Happy fishing,
Eric
