We'll my plan was to bass fish but I had my 5 year old son with me after he go home from school. I wanted to make sure he caught some fish and had fun. He does not yet have the patients for bass fishing. Hit the water about 1:30 pm headed south between the two small islands and dropped the first line with a pink Kokanee killer tipped wit pink power bait. Did not even get the second line out when one nearly pulled the pole out of the boat. That one came off. Caught four more and lost two more in that area till about 4:30 when the bite slowed after that a few bumps bit nothing stuck. All but one fish caught on Kokanee killers and the one on a red wedding ring. Mission accomplished my boy had a great time these fish were hard hitting and hard fighting.
